Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
A little overview on what things look like the night of the tree lighting:
1. Bring an ornament to put on the tree! It can be a family ornament, one in honor of someone, homemade, anything!
2. Santa will be there with a treat for the kids.
3. There will be a photo op to take pics in front of. (With your own camera)
4. Music will be playing.
5. Booths will be around for all to visit! In fact, we encourage anyone and everyone, families or organizations, to set up a booth to share with all! (Kind of like trunk or treat.). It can be a game to play, a treat to hand out, etc.
6. There will be hot chocolate, hot dogs, and a fire pit to roast marshmallows, brownies, and coffee.
7. There will be a table set up for kids to write and mail a letter to Santa.
8. There will be an ornament table for kids to make a snowman ornament.
9. At 6:00 a prayer will be said and the tree lit up!!!
10. Decorate your yards or business! There will be a yard decorating contest. 1st place wins $100, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $25. (We’ll be posting more on this in the days to
11. Door prizes! Gift cards, Turkey, ham, and hopefully more. If your family or business would like to donate an item for the drawing, we’d love it!
12. Toys for Tots box will be sitting by the tree. If you feel led, bring a toy to donate to this organization. All toys stay local!
Don’t miss out on all this fun evening in the Valley. If you have any questions, please ask! We’ll be posting more details in the days and weeks to come!
